In this activity, we will be multiplying numbers by 3.

  2 × 3 =   6

  3 × 3 =   9

  4 × 3 =   12

  5 × 3 =   15

  6 × 3 =   18

  7 × 3 =   21

To multiply by 3, skip counting is a good technique. 

3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36

Count back 3 to find 9 × 3
