In this activity, we are going to be converting between different units of measure in order to solve a variety of problems.

It's important to remember the following:

1 kg = 1,000 g

1 km = 1,000 m

1m = 100 cm

So.....

½ kg = 500 g

1.2 kg = 1,200 g

¼ km = 250 m

¾ m = 75 cm
