A noun (a person, place or object) can be either singular or plural.
If a noun is singular it means that there is only one of them.
for example: puppy, boy Your browser does not support the audio element.
If it is plural it means that there is more than one.
for example: puppies, boys Your browser does not support the audio element.
Most plural nouns end in -s, but not all of them!
Some exceptions are children, sheep and women.
