The seasons of the year occur in this order:
Spring - when flowers start bursting open.
Summer - when we have hot, sunny days.
Autumn - when the leaves on trees start going red and brown.
Winter - when it is cold and there is less daylight.
Roughly speaking, the months fall into these seasons (but not exactly!):
SPRING
March April May
SUMMER
June July August
AUTUMN
September October November
WINTER
December January February
