In this activity, we will be deciding whether a number is a multiple of 2, a multiple of 5, of neither or of both.
Multiples of 2 include
2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 etc....
They end in a 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8. They are even.
Multiples of 5 include
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 etc.
They end in a 0 or 5.
Multiples of 2 and 5 are shown in red.
These are in the 10 times table.
Multiples of neither 2 nor 5 include
1, 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, 17 etc.
