These sounds (phonemes) are called long vowel sounds.
A long vowel phoneme is a sound which is the same as, or very similar to the letter name of one of the vowels.
Now, listen to the words in this worksheet. Try and work out which of the long vowel phonemes they contain and the letters (graphemes) that make those sounds.
