In this activity, we will learn how to find a fraction of a whole number.

 

To find a fraction of a whole number, divide the whole number by the denominator of the given fraction. 

Example: 

Find 1/5 of 15 sweets.

Divide 15 by 5.

15 ÷ 5 = 3.
