Worksheet Overview

A suffix is a letter or group of letters added to the end of a word to make a new word.

For example:

care + full = careful

Note that when adding the word full as a suffix you delete one l to make ful.

If the original word ends in y and the letter before the y is a consonant, change the y to i before adding ful.
