Example

Write a number between:

385 and 425

 

Answer

Look at this number line.

Any number less than 385 is not allowed.

Any number between 385 and 400 will be fine.

Any number between 400 and 425 will be fine.

Any number greater than 425 is not allowed.

 

So there are lots of answers, such as:

386, 390, 399, 400, 415, 420, 424.
