Describe the Movement of a Complex Shape

Hi there, 2D shape detective!

Rotation is a term that describes the action of turning a shape.

The shape can turn either clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Clockwise is the same direction as the hands on a clock move.

Anti-clockwise is the opposite way.

Clockwise	Anti-clockwise

Take a look at this picture of a flower:

Which of the following options shows a correct rotation of this flower, after it has been rotated clockwise or anti-clockwise?

a)         b)         c)        d) 

The correct answer is b!

It can't be a as this is too small, and d is too big.

Don't be fooled by option c which is a flipped version of the flower (a reflection) - did you spot that the leaf was on the other side?
