Arrange Words in Alphabetical Order

This is the alphabet:

The letters are always arranged in the same way, starting with a and finishing with z. This is called alphabetical order.

This is a dictionary:

Dictionaries are books which tell us the meanings of words. The words in a dictionary are put in alphabetical order to help us find the words we need.

In this activity, you can practise putting words into alphabetical order, as they would be in a dictionary.
