Liam is skipping. Jess is practising the hula hoop.

Liam is skipping and Jess is practising the hula hoop.

 

The word 'and' has been used to join the two sentences into one, but there are plenty of other words that could be used to join sentences as well.

 

Liam is skipping while Jess is practising the hula hoop.

 

In this activity, we will practise finding 'joining words' in sentences.
