In the exam, you will need to be able to select key quotations and say something about what these show us about a character or a theme.

 

You will also need to be able to choose quotations from throughout the play, to support your ideas about themes or characters.

 

This activity will help you to revise some of the most important quotations from 'Lord of the Flies.'

 

 

We will practice:

- identifying who is speaking in particular quotations

- identifying what key quotations tell us about a character

- identify which themes might be explored in a given quotation
