In this activity, we will be learning about the days of the week and looking at the order of them. 

 

First of all, let's have a look at the days of the week: 

 

Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Friday

Saturday

Sunday

 

We have the weekdays and these are the days when you go to school or adults go to work. (Although there are some jobs where you have to work at weekends!) 

The weekdays are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The weekend is when you do not have school and many adults do not work at the weekends. These days are Saturday and Sunday.

Some other words we will use in this activity are:

tomorrow

yesterday 

Tomorrow means the day after today. 

Yesterday means the day before today.
