Curriculum subtopic:   Recognise Thousands, Hundreds, Tens and Ones

Difficulty level:

Worksheet Overview

In this activity, we will be identifying the three missing numbers in a sequence.

Example

Identify the three missing numbers in the sequence.

    54   64 69 74

Answer

Try to work out what the numbers increase by.

Here, look at 64, 69 and 74 which go up in 5s.

Use this to work out the rest by adding or subtracting 5 to existing numbers to go to the right or left of a number.

44 49 54 59 64 69 74

Does that make sense?
