In this activity, we will be using our mental maths skills but to solve a very specific problem!

 

You need to get thinking a little outside of the box for this one.   

 

For each question, you need to select alternative ways of carrying out the given calculations because the '5' key is broken on your calculator.

Answer

We could, for example, work out   467 + 100 + 44 + 1
