This activity will help you to recognise man-made and natural materials.

Natural materials come from the ground or from living things - like the rose and the rocks in the pictures above.

 Man-made materials are made in factories - like these plastic bricks below.

However, natural materials can still be made into things by man - the toy car below has been made from wood, which is a natural material.
