Understand How to Find Clues in a Text to Answer Questions

Sometimes when we are reading, we are not told everything.

We have to use clues from the information that has been given to us to help us figure out more.

For example, we might not be told what someone's job is, but we might be given clues to help us work it out. 

Darah puts on an apron and a hat, picks up a whisk and gets to work

What do you think Darah's job is? 

1) A baker

2) A farmer

What do you think?

It is most likely that Darah is a baker based on the things that he is wearing and has picked up.
