Worksheet Overview

Sometimes, when we are reading we will come across words that we do not recognise.

There are a few things we can do here:

1) Ask someone - sometimes we are reading with a friend or grown-up and we may be able to ask them the meaning of a word.

teacher and a child

2) Use a dictionary - a dictionary may have the word we are struggling with and its definition.

3) Use the rest of the text and the pictures to help you.
