In this activity, we will be discovering the different areas of texts we can compare and also thinking about why that is important.
Usually, when you are asked to compare two texts, they have a common theme, setting or message but are presented in different ways.
These are some of the elements you can look at to help you compare two texts:
- Who wrote them
- When they were written
- The atmosphere that's been created
- The imagery that has been used
- Language features within the text
- How the text has been structured
- The title
