Worksheet Overview

When we are writing, it is important to not only consider the audience - ensuring that we are making the best vocabulary choices to suit them - but also to know the purpose for which we are writing.

Purpose is why we are writing. It is the intention behind it.

Once we know the purpose, we are able to ensure that we make the right choices about what we write to be certain that we achieve our purpose.

In this activity, you will begin to develop your understanding of purpose and how to achieve it.
