Worksheet Overview

How do I know if my plant is growing well?

Plants need many different things to be able to grow well. We're going to think about how we might recognise whether or not our plant is growing well.

Have a look at this plant.

What are the signs that it is growing well?

Plant in a pot

- Green leaves

- Healthy, strong stem

- Tomatoes are starting to grow

How might it look if it were not healthy?

Maybe the leaves would turn brown, there would be no fruit growing, and the stalk might be bending down.
