Electricity is vital to our everyday lives.
Look around you - how many things can you see that are powered by electricity?
Probably too many to count!
We can make a simple circuit to examine how electricity works.
Here, we have a battery, a light bulb and a switch.
When the switch is closed (the two metal parts touch), the electricity will flow around the circuit and the bulb will light up.
In this activity, we will look at different electrical circuits and decide whether or not they will work!
Let's get started.
