Learn to Spell Words Containing a Silent 't'

Some words are spelt with letters that we do not pronounce (say out loud).  These letters are called silent letters.

In this activity, we are going to look at words which contain a silent t.

We will look at the following five words and practise spelling them:

ballet

wrestle

listen

fasten

whistle
