Identify Word Class

Every word in every sentence has a job. 

It could be to name something, say what that thing looks like, or tell you what is happening and how it is happening. 

It is really useful to know what the names of these words are - this is their word class. 

In this activity, you will look at nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs and the job they do in sentences.
