Developing your vocabulary is a very important part of building your skill in English.

The stronger and more varied your vocabulary, the better your understanding of a text will be, and the better your own writing is!

In this activity, you will be looking at synonyms and antonyms.

A synonym is a word that means the same (or very, very similar) to another.

An antonym is a word that means the opposite!

Picking the right synonyms and antonyms for your work is like dotting flowers over a field - they make it look much nicer!
