Knowing your audience before you start writing is a great way to make sure that what you write and how you write it, is suitable for whoever will be reading or listening to your work.

If your audience is full of experts on a subject, you would choose your vocabulary very differently to if you had a group of people who had very little understanding of the topic.

In this activity, we will practise writing for different audiences, developing our skills in choosing the right language and devices to make sure we communicate well with the audience.

Let's get started.
