In this activity, we will be choosing the multiples of a given number from a list.

 

Example

Which of these numbers are multiples of 5?

13, 55, 15, 32, 70, 76

 

Answer  

55, 70, 15  since multiples of 5 end in a 0 or 5

 

Remember that multiples of 2 are even, so end in a 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8.

Multiples of 3 are in the 3 times table.

Multiples of 4 are in the 4 times table, and so on!
