In this activity, we will be dividing positive and negative numbers.

 

Remember

If you divide one positive and one negative number, your answer will be negative.


If you divide two negative numbers or two positive numbers, your answer will be positive.

 

Examples

 

-12 ÷ 6 = -2

-63 ÷ -9 = 7

72 ÷ -9 = -8

-16 ÷ 4 = -4

-56 ÷ -2 = 28
