Sentences always begin with a capital letter, but often we need to use capital letters in the middle of sentences as well.

 

Capital Letters

 

You will have learnt which words always need a capital letter. They include:

 

People's names

People's titles (Mr, Mrs, Doctor and so on)

Place names (including streets, towns and countries)

The names of the days of the week and the months of the year

Titles of books, films and television programmes

 

In this activity, we will practise adding capital letters to sentences.
