When we are writing, it is important to put our work together in a way that will help the reader.

This is called structure.

A great way to make sure you have a clear structure to help guide your reader is with connectives.

Connectives indicate (show) your reader what is going to happen in each section of your work. Think of them as the foundations in a building. They are the solid base and the words are like the bricks on top.

In this activity, you will develop your understanding of connectives and how to use them.
