Worksheet Overview

Every time you write a text, you need to think about the purpose and audience.

Why are you writing and who are you writing for.

But it is also important to consider how you will communicate with that audience, how will you tell them what you want to tell them?

In this activity, you will look at some of the ways you can write to make sure your audience understands what you want to tell them.

These ways are called 'devices' and we will be looking at four specific ones.
