Worksheet Overview

Fruit and vegetables

Did you know that we eat parts of plants every day?

We call the parts of plants that we eat fruit or vegetables. They are often grown by farmers, but some people grow their own food in their gardens - have you ever tried this?

It's good to know how different fruits and vegetables grow. For example, apples and bananas grow from trees, blackberries grow on a bush, and carrots and tomatoes grow from the ground!

How many can you name? Let's find out!
