Difficulty level:

Worksheet Overview

When you are writing for any audience, it is important to structure your work so the audience can follow what is happening.

When you write a story, this means having a beginning, middle and end.

But when you write other texts that are not stories, like letters, reports or a speech, you still need to guide your audience through the text.

To do this, you can use connectives. Think of these as the building blocks of what you write.
