Worksheet Overview

Do you have a favourite hat or scarf?

Do you wear them all year round?

Neither do we!

Each year has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season brings different weather, so we need to wear different clothes for them!

The weather might be rainy and wet, so we need wellington boots and a waterproof coat!

Or it might be sunny and dry, so we need a sun hat and sunglasses and sun cream on our skin! We would wear shorts, vests and t-shirts because it’s so lovely and warm that we don’t need extra layers.

In the autumn, it can be rainy and windy, so we need a warmer waterproof coat, to keep us cosy and dry!

In the winter, it can be very cold, so we need woolly hats, gloves and scarves, to keep us nice and toasty in the snow and frost! We wear jumpers and thick socks too because it’s so cold in winter that we need the extra layers!

In this activity, we will be thinking about each season and what the best clothes are for each one.
