Compare All Four Seasons

Aren’t the seasons great?

 

 

In winter, it’s cold and frosty and in the summer it’s sunny and warm!

 

 

Spring and autumn have lots of rain showers and fun puddles to jump in!

 

 

 

These are ways to compare the seasons finding the things that are the same.

 

We can compare the seasons by looking at what is different too.

 

 

Winter is special because we sometimes get snow to make snowmen with!

 

Spring is unique because the flowers start to pop out of the ground and brighten everything up!

 

Let’s recap on the seasons and try comparing them in this activity!

 

Weather: Warmer temperatures, often rainy.   Nature: Plants start growing, flowers bloom, baby animals are born.   Daylight: Days get longer.	Weather: Hottest temperatures, less rain.   Nature: Plants grow fastest, many animals are active.   Daylight: Longest days of the year.
Weather: Cooler temperatures, more rain.   Nature: Leaves change colour and fall, some animals prepare for winter.   Daylight: Days get shorter.	Weather: Coldest temperatures, snow in some places.   Nature: Plants mostly dormant, some animals hibernate or migrate.   Daylight: Shortest days of the year.
