Compare the Seasons

Which season is your favourite?
 

Spring and summer are great because they are both sunny!

In this activity, we will be comparing the seasons.

When we compare, we look for things that are the same and things that are different.

Think about each season. Can you think of anything that is the same about them?

Autumn and winter are both cold seasons.

Spring and summer both have more sunshine.

Can you think of anything that is different about each season?

We generally only get snow in winter, not in any other season.

In summer, it is the driest and we have less rain than all the other seasons.

And autumn is the only time that the trees lose their leaves, which is different to all the other seasons!

Today we will use our super season knowledge to compare the seasons - let’s go!
