OCR GCSE Modern Prose or Drama Revision

The OCR English Literature GCSE consists of two written papers that are equally weighted. Each has a time-limit of two hours. Paper 1 assesses students' knowledge of a modern prose or drama text and of a 19th century novel. Paper 2 tests students ability to compare poems from one of the clusters in the OCR Anthology (either Love & Relationships, Conflict, or Youth & Age) and also to analyse a Shakespearean play. Both exams are closed book which means students are not allowed copies of the set text to refer to and will need to learn quotations from each beforehand.
