Our 11+ resources are designed to teach skills and then discreetly test your child with exam-style questions and practice papers too. Giving you visibility to their progress. To help you support your child best, our resources are aligned to exam boards with progressive leveling, starting at year 3 and working to exam-style questions and practice papers in year 5. This allows you to set your child at a level that suits them and develop the skills needed overtime; removing exam pressure and building their confidence.
Spatial and non-verbal reasoning is heavily favoured in 11+ exams as it bears little resemblance to what students will be learning in the National Curriculum at school. These types of questions involve the manipulation of shapes and images, so students need to develop the skill of visualisation to succeed in this area. A strong foundation of confidence in 2D and 3D shape recognition from Key Stage 2 is an ideal foundation to build top-rate non-verbal and spatial reasoning skills from early as year 3. For this reason, it can be very daunting and unfamiliar to students but don’t worry! With our systematic approach to learning question types directly taken from previous 11+ exams, we’ll help your child develop familiarity, skill and confidence quickly.
